I had various restoration work done on our deck costing thousands of $$$ over a period of 12 years with other contractors. They were all not worth a dime. Jorge and crew have done Three jobs for us over the last year. After we moved into our home, we found that the supporting posts were rotting out. Jorge and team provided a reasonable estimate of the work and replaced all posts. Next we discovered that the bottom deck was rotting out and the area under the deck had not been prepared. They removed all the rotten joists and boards, Dug out the area under the deck, installed gravel and re-built the deck with trex. Again Jorge and team did a great job. Finally, over this winter I discovered one of our exterior doors was rotting out at the base and found that it had even rotted out some of the sub floor inside. Jorge and Israel were available to come investigate the issue provide a reasonable estimate on the work needed to repair and seal the entry. On this most recent job I was a bit frustrated that the materials and labor went over his estimate. But I would still get an estimate from them on future work that we have.
We used them to replace rotting boards and refinish the deck. They did an excellent job, and in hindsight this was well below their skill level. I decided to take down the old screen and skirt to open things up and discovered the main 4x4 posts were rotted out. I texted them and they came out the very next day. Horrified by the rot, they made a plan to make my deck safe again. It was completed in just 4 days. I effectively have a new deck now! The price was reasonable, the value was great, and they were conscious of both aesthetics and safety - the perfect combo. I will be using them for my deck upkeep for years to come.
JC deck renovation updated our 30 yo screened in gazebo. The scope of work included replacing all the old wood between the deck floor and roof, the carpentry was outstanding. The patio was also cleaned, stained and our screens were replaced. high quality proper doors were installed and the electric was updated with a new fan installed. Jorge was personal and listened to our vision for space, he was not hesitant to give his professional option. Jorge has a good sense of how things should look and was usually right. A couple of small items still need to be completed. We absolutely love our renovated outdoor space and spend many hours enjoying it.
